Evolve Studios is an on-demand studio hire venue on Carlyle Street in Sydenham, Christchurch. It has six studios in a heritage building on the city fringe, each with lush foliage and a design that suits dance, classes, workshops and office work. Bookings are made online, and a unique door code is sent for entry. The site says it is a place to hire your own studio for a session, rather than a class business.
Studios 1 and 6 suit events, social dancing, workshops, birthday parties and wellness weekends for up to 50 people. Studios 3, 4 and 5 are set up for business and quiet work. The site also describes a larger space for events of up to 100 people. Classes are run by independent teachers, and the building has onsite massage and beauty therapists and a wellness practice. Open Locally counts two other yoga studios within a kilometre, Kula Studio at 0.6 km, rated 5.0 from 12 reviews, and Being, also 0.6 km away, which has no rating. Evolve Studios has no rating on Open Locally.
