About Sports Solutions

Sports Solutions is a physiotherapy and sports rehabilitation clinic in Holland Village, Singapore, built on the philosophy of finding and treating the cause of a problem rather than just addressing symptoms. The clinic insists that every first appointment lasts a full hour, giving patients undivided attention from a physiotherapist — never an assistant or aide, and never time spent alone on a machine.

At a first session, patients undergo a detailed history-taking and complete physical examination, often including a posture, walking or running gait, and biomechanical assessment, before a specific treatment plan is established and treatment begins on the spot. The clinic works closely with specialist doctors, general practitioners, sports physicians, podiatrists, nutritionists and sports psychologists to treat patients as a whole person rather than just an injured body part.

For patients recovering from surgery, Sports Solutions designs individual rehabilitation programs that protect injured tissue in the early stages before progressing proprioception, flexibility, muscle strength and sport-specific activity, with progression based on functional ability rather than time. The team specialises in headaches, back pain, neck pain, joint and muscle pain, and sports injuries, using evidence-based treatment strategies.

The clinic's physiotherapists are registered with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) and the Singapore Physiotherapy Association (SPA), and include Senior Principal Physiotherapist Gino Ng — a former national triathlete and Singapore Sports Council physiotherapist who has attended the Athens 2004 and Beijing 2008 Olympics — alongside Principal Physiotherapist Aized Noor and physiotherapists Leah Warden, Zi Yun Lim and Clarence Yap.

Sports Solutions: Physiotherapy and Sports Rehabilitation in Holland Village

Tucked into Holland Village at 43 Jalan Merah Saga, Sports Solutions is a physiotherapy clinic built around a simple but firm belief: treat the cause of the pain, not just the symptom. That philosophy shapes everything from how appointments are structured to the calibre of physiotherapists on the team.

The First Session Difference

Every new patient at Sports Solutions is given a full hour for their first appointment — enough time for the clinic to properly investigate what's actually causing the problem. Patients are never handed off to an assistant or aide, and are never left attached to a machine; the physiotherapist's attention stays with them for the entire session. That first visit includes a careful history of the symptoms' location, nature, behaviour and onset, followed by a complete physical exam and, where relevant, a thorough posture, gait and biomechanical assessment. Treatment itself begins at that same first session, drawing on a range of proven, evidence-based approaches.

Treating the Whole Person

Sports Solutions works alongside specialist doctors, general practitioners, sports physicians, podiatrists, nutritionists and sports psychologists, reflecting a belief that patients should be treated as whole people rather than an isolated injured part. For patients coming in after surgery, the team builds individual rehabilitation programs that start by protecting injured tissue and managing early inflammation, before progressing through proprioception, flexibility, muscle strength and imbalance work, and finally sport-specific activity for those returning to play. Progression is based on functional ability rather than a fixed timeline, with sport-specific testing used before a patient is cleared to fully return to sport.

A Team With Elite-Level Experience

The clinic's physiotherapists are registered with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) and the Singapore Physiotherapy Association (SPA), and specialise in headaches, back pain, neck pain, joint and muscle pain, and sports injuries.

Senior Principal Physiotherapist Gino Ng brings a rare vantage point to the role, having worked as a senior sports physiotherapist at the Singapore Sports Council from 1999 to 2009, and having competed himself as a national triathlete — a two-time Singapore National Triathlon champion and ten-time National Vertical Marathon winner, among other results. He has travelled with Singapore medical teams to major events including the SEA Games, the Commonwealth Games and Asian Games, and is the only local Singaporean physiotherapist to have attended both the 2004 Athens and 2008 Beijing Olympics. He is also one of only two Certified Kinesio Taping Instructors in Singapore.

Principal Physiotherapist Aized Noor, who founded the practice that grew into Sports Solutions, has been a physiotherapist since 1999, with a specialisation in spine pain and chronic pain since 2004, and has lectured for the Singapore Sports Council and Nanyang Polytechnic. She has also travelled with the National Netball Teams as team physiotherapist.

Rounding out the team are physiotherapists Leah Warden, a former competitive basketball player and Muay Thai athlete who represented Singapore internationally; Zi Yun Lim, whose background spans martial arts, swimming, gymnastics and rock climbing; and Clarence Yap, who developed his interest in physiotherapy while working as a therapy assistant in a major public hospital before completing his physiotherapy degree.
