Red Beach TOP 10 is a holiday park, rated 4.4 from 203 Google reviews. The directory lists it under Redwood, but its own description refers to Red Beach and the north Auckland region, with many beaches nearby and easy access to local attractions, so check the address when you book.
A good holiday park gives travellers a clean, comfortable and well-organised base, with a mix of powered sites, cabins and units, tidy kitchens and bathrooms, laundry, a playground and an easy check-in. The TOP 10 name is a national group, and its parks generally publish facilities and rules online, which helps you compare before you book. Regulars know to book early for summer, school holidays and long weekends, to ask for a site away from the road or the amenities block if they want quiet, and to check what is included, such as linen, cooking gear and pet rules. Arriving before dark makes setting up easier, and checking quiet hours helps everyone sleep.
For families and travellers exploring the beaches nearby, it is a handy base to stay while you explore the coast.
