Pavilions Hotel is a family owned and operated Christchurch hotel on Papanui Road, run by the Horncastle family since April 1992. Often described by guests as a home away from home, it pairs good old fashioned kiwi hospitality with the comforts of home, and many of the extended Horncastle family have worked in the business over the years. The hotel holds a Qualmark Gold 4-star rating and is known for a relaxed, friendly atmosphere and attentive staff, with some guests still returning two decades after their first stay.
The hotel offers 91 beautifully designed and well appointed guest rooms, suites and apartments, ranging from standard and superior studios to an executive spa studio, one and two bedroom options, a deluxe two bedroom apartment and the Christchurch Cottage. Beyond accommodation, it is a dynamic social hub where guests and visitors can work, relax, socialise and dine, with an onsite gym, swimming pool, spa and sauna, and conference facilities including the Terrace and Webb rooms with full catering for events.
Adding to its character, the hotel doubles as a glimpse into the history of New Zealand through the lens of the Horncastle family, with artefacts and pieces of Kiwiana collected over three generations from the North and South Islands displayed throughout the site.
