Merivale Mall is a fashion and lifestyle shopping centre at 189 Papanui Road in Merivale, Christchurch, about five minutes' drive from the city centre. It has fashion, lifestyle stores, restaurants, bars, a FreshChoice supermarket and a grocer, and it is open seven days a week.
Its website shows opening hours of 9am to 6pm on weekdays and Saturday, 10am to 5pm on Sunday, and 7am to 9pm for the supermarket. The mall has ample free parking between Office Road and Aikmans Road, with time limits from 15 minutes to 2 hours. It also has 50 bike stands at several entrances and accessible parking at the north and west entrances. We hear the mall is currently closed and will reopen on Saturday at 9am, with FreshChoice reopening at 7am, so check the current opening before you go. Our pick in Merivale for a fashion browse and a Saturday morning shop.
