Hillside ITM Hornby is a building supply yard on Springs Road in Hornby, Christchurch, and it is part of ITM, the Independent Timber Merchants co-operative. It supplies frame and truss, joinery and pole sheds, which are the main timber and building products a builder orders for a house or a farm shed. Frame and truss are pre-made timber frames that go up quickly on site, so for a builder the supplier's yard is where the job is started. The store also serves do-it-yourself customers, and there is a Trade Club for people who work in the building trade. The site has areas for suppliers and ITM staff only, so visitors should go to the counter for help. Its Google rating is 4.6.
