Finding the right floor is about more than picking a colour. It is about choosing materials that will stand up to real life, and having them installed by people who know exactly what they are doing. Floor Arts, based at 14 Stubberfield Street in Halswell, Christchurch, has built its reputation on doing both — supplying quality flooring and installing it with care.
Locally owned and operated, Floor Arts serves homes and businesses across Christchurch and the wider Canterbury region. The team brings years of proven experience in the flooring industry, and every job is carried out with the same promise: utmost care, excellence and top-standard quality.
Floor Arts covers the complete flooring journey. On the carpet side, they supply quality carpets, install them professionally, and repair existing carpets that still have life left in them. Beyond carpet, their range extends to premium vinyl planks, laminate flooring and hybrid flooring — each available as a supply-only option or as a full supply-and-installation package.
That end-to-end approach means clients do not need to juggle separate suppliers and installers. Floor Arts handles everything, guaranteeing quality, style and durability from selection through to the final plank or carpet tile. The range includes the latest designs and technology in the flooring industry, so whether you want the warmth of carpet, the practicality of vinyl planks or the modern appeal of hybrid flooring, there is an option to suit.
The scale of the work varies just as much as the materials. Some clients want to refresh a single room; others are revamping an entire property or planning a commercial flooring fit-out. Floor Arts works efficiently and professionally at either end of that spectrum.
Not every worn or damaged carpet needs to be torn out. Floor Arts offers a dedicated carpet repairs service, handling everything from small carpet repairs to larger jobs. For homeowners and businesses weighing up repair versus replacement, a conversation with the team can be a genuinely money-saving first step.
Floor Arts describes its difference as a commitment to customer satisfaction and attention to detail. Each project is treated as unique: the team takes the time to understand your requirements, offers expert advice, and delivers personalised service. Their guiding belief is that great flooring starts with quality materials and ends with expert craftsmanship — which is why they only work with trusted brands and experienced installers.
Clients are encouraged to reach out early, with Floor Arts offering expert advice and free quotes for carpet supply, flooring installation or repair work. Once a project begins, the aim is simple: work efficiently and professionally to exceed expectations.
