Bright Sparks is a home-based early childhood service at 88 Fisher Avenue in Beckenham, Christchurch, for children aged 0 to 5. Groups are kept small, and the educators are qualified. The programme is play-based and set in a home environment, which suits families who want a smaller, more homely setting than a large centre.
Open Locally lists five other childcare providers within a kilometre. The closest are Kindercare Learning Centres in Spreydon, about 0.2 km away, and BestStart Beckenham, about 0.6 km away. Somerfield Playcentre and BestStart Cashmere are both about 0.7 km away, and families looking for a larger centre can compare those nearby options.
