About Bridie's Bar & Bistro

Bridie's Bar and Bistro is a bar and bistro in the heart of Christchurch's Linwood Village, describing itself as the neighbourhood's new 'little local.' Open seven days a week from 8am, it offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner alongside drinks in a casual, relaxed setting.

The menu covers hearty pub-style favourites including breakfasts, roasts, pastas, burgers, pizzas, steaks, soups, salads, and fish & chips, many chosen with input from local regulars. The kitchen uses Weedon's farm free-range eggs, Beckenham Butchery's organic sausages, Hand to Heart artisan sourdough bread, and Akaroa salmon across its dishes, and can adapt many meals to dietary requirements, including gluten-free bread.

Bridie's also caters for events and functions such as anniversaries, birthdays, and family gatherings, offering set menus, platters, and group catering at any budget. The venue regularly hosts events including live sports screenings, quiz nights, and seasonal celebrations.
