The Donut Destination is the retail store and cafe at the headquarters of Original Foods Baking Co., a wholesale bakery at 8 Stark Drive in Wigram, Christchurch. The shop sells donuts, cakes, slices and brownies that come fresh from the bakery next door, and it also serves coffee and a selection of sandwiches and savoury treats.
The shop is open Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 3:30pm. Orders can be placed online for delivery within Christchurch, or customers can come in to pick up for a party, a function or a treat. Three other bakeries sit within a kilometre, Sweet Time Limited at 0.4 km, Good Honest at 0.5 km, and Twisted Flour and Sugar Merchants at 0.5 km. The bakery says it uses real butter, milk and eggs, and that it has been baking for over 30 years.
