About PHYSIO+

Physio+ is an individualised physiotherapy clinic on the ninth floor of Orchard Shopping Centre, next to 313 Somerset. Founded in 2017 by Chief Physiotherapist Lim Yan Ping after her early career in a local public hospital, the clinic was built on a simple belief: healing takes more than 'physio' — it takes empathy, a listening ear and plenty of encouragement throughout the recovery journey.

The close-knit team of five AHPC-registered physiotherapists covers musculoskeletal and neck/back therapy, pre- and post-surgery rehabilitation, manual therapy, sports rehabilitation, post-stroke rehab, women's health, dry needling, DMA Clinical Pilates and Schroth Therapy for scoliosis, with several therapists certified in the International Schroth Three-Dimensional Scoliosis Therapy (ISST) method. Physio+ is a member of the Singapore Physiotherapy Association.

Patients highlight thorough assessments, clear communication about their condition and treatment rationale, and a warm, supportive environment with genuine one-to-one attention. The clinic opens early at 7am on weekdays and Saturdays, with morning and afternoon sessions split by a midday break, and is closed on Sundays and public holidays. Physio+ also runs Wednesday evening sessions at partner clinic Island Family Clinic in Sengkang, by appointment, bringing rehabilitation closer to patients in the north-east.

Physio+ at Orchard Shopping Centre: Individualised Physiotherapy and Schroth Scoliosis Care in Singapore

Perched on the ninth floor of Orchard Shopping Centre — directly next to 313 Somerset — Physio+ is a physiotherapy clinic that has made its name by doing something deceptively simple: treating every patient as an individual. Founded in 2017 by physiotherapist Lim Yan Ping, the clinic pairs evidence-based treatment with what its founder calls the essential though intangible elements of care — empathy, a listening ear, and plenty of encouragement along the way.

The story behind the "+"

Yan Ping's physiotherapy journey began in 2007 at a local Singapore hospital, where mentors ignited her passion for musculoskeletal health — particularly the muscle and joint issues behind common back and neck pain. But hospital life left her with little control over her schedule, and she found herself yearning to offer patients a deeper, more personalised level of care. With her family's support and strong encouragement from patients themselves, she founded Physio+ in 2017.

The name is deliberate. "Physio", in Yan Ping's view, is only part of the healing process; the "+" stands for the human qualities that must be added to it. Today she leads a shared clinical practice in which the team pairs objectivity with empathy when diagnosing and evaluating symptoms, so that every patient receives an individualised approach to healing and rehabilitation. In 2025 she deepened the clinic's specialist offering by becoming a certified Schroth Therapist, adding a highly regarded non-surgical approach to scoliosis and other spinal conditions.

A team with impressive breadth

Physio+ runs on a close-knit team of five physiotherapists, all registered with the Allied Health Professions Council. Yan Ping, the founder and Chief Physiotherapist, holds a Bachelor of Health Science from the University of Sydney and a Master of Manual Therapy from the University of Western Australia. She is joined by Senior Physiotherapists Phua Siew Leng, Han Shu Shuang, Bok Wanting and Cheah Kun Leng — graduates of Trinity College Dublin and Nanyang Polytechnic whose hospital backgrounds span Changi General Hospital and KK Women's and Children's Hospital.

That collective experience matters. Between them, the team covers musculoskeletal therapy, sports rehabilitation, post-stroke and neurological rehab, women's health, dry needling, DMA Clinical Pilates and the Schroth Method — with several therapists holding ISST certification from Germany. The clinic is a member of the Singapore Physiotherapy Association, and orthopaedic surgeon Dr Lim Yi-Jia has publicly praised Yan Ping for "all-round physiotherapy care and psychological support".

What Physio+ treats

On any given day, the clinic's treatment rooms see a wide mix of patients: office workers with stubborn neck and back pain, athletes recovering from sports injuries, patients preparing for or recovering from surgery, and people rebuilding after a stroke. Hands-on manual therapy underpins much of the work, complemented by targeted exercise programmes and, where appropriate, dry needling.

Two offerings stand out. The first is Schroth Therapy for scoliosis, now delivered by multiple ISST-certified therapists at the clinic. The second is Clinical Pilates: therapists certified in the DMA Clinical Pilates method weave Pilates-based exercise into rehabilitation plans, building the strength and control that protect against re-injury. Women's health physiotherapy, drawing on Wanting's years at KK Women's and Children's Hospital, rounds out the specialised services.

The experience, and practicalities

Patients consistently describe the same things in their feedback: thorough assessments, clear explanations of what is happening and why, and a supportive environment where they feel encouraged rather than rushed. The team deliberately fosters meaningful one-to-one connections, so you will typically see the same therapist throughout your course of care.

The clinic is easy to reach at 321 Orchard Road, Orchard Shopping Centre #09-03, Singapore 238866. It opens early — 7am — on weekdays and Saturdays, running morning and afternoon sessions with a midday break between 1pm and 2pm, and closes on Sundays and public holidays. Appointments can be made by WhatsApp (+65 9668 9801), phone (+65 6835 7377), email ([email protected]) or the website contact form, with replies promised within 24 hours.

For those in the north-east, Physio+ also partners with Island Family Clinic, a neighbourhood GP practice at 279 Sengkang East Avenue, holding sessions there every Wednesday evening by appointment — bringing rehabilitation closer to home for patients who cannot easily get to Orchard.

Whether you arrive with a long-standing ache, a recent injury, a surgical timeline or a scoliosis diagnosis, the promise is the same one Yan Ping set out with in 2017: a welcoming place where anyone in need can seek treatment, and where expertise is always delivered with genuine warmth.
