Nitsara Massage Therapy is a massage clinic at 90 Brighton Mall in New Brighton, Christchurch. The website describes a holistic approach to stress and pain relief, with experienced therapists. Services run from neck, shoulder, back and head massage in 30, 45, 60 and 90-minute sessions, through to full-body relaxing hot oil massage, Swedish and Thai hot oil, Thai and Chinese massage with oil and stretching, and full-body deep tissue massage, which the website says is firm, in sessions of up to 180 minutes. Deep tissue with hot stones and a relaxing oil and hot stone massage are also offered. Sessions are booked through the clinic's online booking page. The website says the clinic is one of Christchurch's most reputable massage practices.
Customers' views are mixed. One customer booked a 30-minute neck, back and shoulder massage and found the therapist took time to clear the tension and knots. Another booked a one-hour session for aches from work, and said the therapist was thorough, professional and focused on the painful areas. A third thought the clinic was overpriced, and felt the massages were rushed and that staff did not check in. That reviewer also questioned the therapists' qualifications and suggested a Thai massage studio elsewhere in the city. Neck pain relief comes up most often, along with pregnancy and leg massage.
