A vet clinic at 155 Corsair Drive in Wigram, Christchurch, combined with The Good Dog Spa. The clinic has three consult rooms, an in-house laboratory, radiography, sterile and non-sterile surgery rooms, a dental room, a cat ward, a dog ward and an isolation unit. Its services include vaccinations and health checks, microchipping, surgery, dentistry under general anaesthetic, preventative care, rehabilitation, and short stays. The website says the clinic is designed with cats in mind, with a separate cat waiting area, a consult room and a cat-only ward. The Good Dog Spa offers dog grooming, day care and short stays. The website also describes a vaccination schedule for puppies and kittens, worming, flea treatment and annual health checks for adult pets.
Customers say the staff are understanding, and mention a vet who knew what was wrong with a cat before running tests, and a vet nurse who is excellent. One owner says they have used the clinic for two dogs over several years, and that the staff are always helpful and accommodating. Another owner has taken their dog to the clinic for a year, and says the dog likes the visits. Customers also mention dog grooming, hydrotherapy and abscess treatment. The day care is next door, which one owner says is very convenient for their dog. Visitors can see the clinic's layout and services on the website.
