The Arthur's Pass Walking Track is open but walkers need to drop into the creek bed of Bridle Veil Stream. This track section is uneven and rocky. There is a partial bridge that can be used when the stream is low, but this may be impassable during and after heavy rain. You will need to turn back at this point if this is the case.
