A food ingredients supplier on Halswell Junction Road in Islington, Christchurch, that sells to food businesses as well as to the public. The company is 100 percent Kiwi owned and says it has supplied the New Zealand food industry for more than 50 years. It imports, stores, blends and distributes ingredients, and its website says it runs 11 warehouses around the country.
Customers say the range is large and varied. One customer had an urgent order that was not in stock, and the staff found a small amount that helped. Another used to buy a particular peanut butter here, which was hard to find elsewhere, but found the shop harder for everyday customers to order from over time. One regular says the staff are fun to deal with, and that the lunches sold here are good.
The company's three retail shops, where the public can buy in bulk, are in Auckland, Palmerston North and Wellington.
