Easy Peasy Dog Wash & Grooming, at 12 Leverett Place in North New Brighton, Christchurch, is a one-to-one dog grooming and wash service. The business welcomes individual and family bookings, so several dogs from one household can be booked together. The website lists a main grooming menu, add-ons and paw care. Prices are based on the dog's weight rather than its breed, so the business asks for an accurate weight to confirm the rate. Owners call or email to discuss their dog's needs.
Customers mention the calm atmosphere, and say the groomer listens to what they want and takes account of how a dog has coped with groomers before. One owner was surprised to see a dog that had been hard to handle sitting and enjoying its groom. Reviewers also mention the care taken with soft coats and the dog wash. Of the two nearby pet groomers with ten or more reviews, none rates higher than this one. Canine Cuzzies, 0.5 km away, is also rated 5.0. Our pick in North New Brighton for a nervous dog's first groom.
