Lakewood Reserve in Burwood is a popular spot along the lake on Lake Terrace Rd for feeding ducks and eels, with a good chance to spot pukekos, Canadian ducks and other birdlife. There's a nice walking path along the lake that connects through to New Brighton Rd.
