Located in the North-East Region of Singapore, Sengkang is a well-planned residential town spanning approximately 10.6 km². Formerly known as Kangkar, the area evolved from fishing villages, rubber estates, and farmland into a modern new town following large-scale redevelopment by the Housing & Development Board from the mid-1990s.
