Ngā Tāngata Tiaki o Whanganui was established on behalf o Whanganui Iwi on the settlement of the Whanganui River Claim. Established on the 4th of August 2014 with the signing of Ruruku Whakatupua, Te Mana o Te Awa and Te Mana o Te Iwi Deeds of Settlement.
