Nails Built on Healthy Products

Lustre & Co takes particular pride in its nail work, using premium products from reputable brands including SNS, Nitro, Pixie, OPI, Gelish, The Gel Bottle and Apres. The salon places a strong emphasis on naturally processed products that are free of harsh chemicals and unpleasant odours, aiming for nails that are long-lasting, healthy and durable with an exceptional finish.

The nail menu is extensive, spanning dipping powder systems, gel polish manicures and pedicures (including a spa-style Royal Pedicure with lavender and chamomile salt soak, hemp oil extract and a hot stone finish), acrylics, the Apres Gel-X soak-off soft gel extension system, and BIAB/Builder Gel — a lighter, more flexible soak-off alternative to polygel or acrylic. Lashes Designed Around Your Eyes

Lustre & Co's lash technicians apply extensions individually, with full coverage of the natural lash so your own lashes can keep growing underneath. Classic lash sets use one silk extension per natural lash for an everyday, mascara-like look, while Russian volume ranges from two to six extensions per natural lash for a more dramatic effect — up to Mega Volume, an 8D-15D set offering full 100% coverage. A Kim Kardashian/Madam Whispy style sits between the two for high-impact volume with a softer finish. Infills are recommended every 2-3 weeks, and clients need more than 50% of their extensions remaining to qualify for an infill (note: the salon does not infill lashes applied elsewhere, aside from sister salon Kiwi Beauty Salon in Wellington).

Semi-Permanent Cosmetic Tattoo

For brows, Lustre & Co offers microblading, ombre, powder brows, fluffy brows and a combination technique blending microblading with powdered tail definition — each involving a full consultation, personalised measurements, and shaping to suit individual face and bone structure. Microblading and combination brow services include a touch-up within six weeks, and existing clients can book colour boosts within 12-24 months to refresh their results. The salon also offers semi-permanent top and bottom eyeliner, including an ombre eyeliner option.

Beyond the Treatment Chair

Rounding out the service menu are keratin lash lifts, brow lamination, and a full range of waxing and tinting services from brow shaping to henna brow treatments. Visiting Lustre & Co

The Lower Hutt salon at Shop 256, Queensgate Shopping Centre is open Monday to Wednesday and Saturday 9am-6pm, Thursday and Friday 9am-9pm, and Sunday 10am-5:30pm. The Porirua salon at Shop 145, North City Shopping Centre keeps similar hours, though it closes at 6pm on Fridays and opens until 6pm on Sundays rather than 5:30pm.
