Meet the Owner

Kireina Spa is owned and run by Taryn, a fully qualified Beauty Therapist holding a Diploma in Beauty Therapy along with certifications in Makeup Artistry and Skincare. Her interest in beauty started at age eight, raiding her mum's makeup collection, though her path eventually led her toward skincare rather than makeup artistry alone. After training and gaining experience at one of Wellington's premier day spas, Taryn opened Kireina Spa to build her own tranquil space where clients could feel pampered and renewed. Four years into running her own business, she continues to stay current with new techniques and trends across all areas of beauty.

Kireina Spa's facial menu is built around two established skincare brands: Pure Fiji and Aspect Skin. Pure Fiji facials range from express 30-minute treatments — including a hydration-boosting Refresher Facial and a targeted Vitamin C peel — through to 60-minute luxury options like the Dilo Coconut Hydration Facial and Purifying Papaya Enzyme Facial. Aspect Skin's range spans express facials suited to newer clients, advanced peels targeting problem skin, pigmentation or general resurfacing, and 60-minute rejuvenation treatments including Dermaplaning Infusion and Hydrodermabrasion.

For more targeted skin concerns, the spa also offers Dermapen microneedling, a 45-minute treatment that stimulates natural collagen and elastin production to help with acne scarring, fine lines, stretch marks, pore size and pigmentation, along with add-on options for the neck, décolletage, hands and small body scars.
