Food that moves with the seasons

Loxies keeps its menu fresh and flowing with the seasons rather than sticking to a fixed rotation year-round. The breakfast menu covers the full range, from a build-your-own Eggs Your Way through to more composed plates like the Salmon Royale — smoked salmon, poached eggs, dukkah and lemon pepper hollandaise — and the Naked Benedict, finished with almond dukkah and parmesan hollandaise. For something sweeter, there's a crispy brioche French toast with poached pears and spiced maple mascarpone, and a banana on toast built on Loxies' own banana loaf with house-made peanut butter.

Lunch moves into heartier territory with fish and chips, a Mediterranean-style pumpkin salad, and the Loxies Hawker Rolls — fried chicken or BBQ beef with crunchy slaw and nam jim dressing on a grilled roti. The burger selection covers fried chicken, BBQ pulled beef and falafel, all served on a vegan brioche bun, and the small eats menu adds mushroom arancini with truffle aioli and a bacon butty for smaller appetites.

Fresh drinks cover a handful of house smoothies and juices, including the Loxies Elixir (carrot, lime, turmeric and ginger) and the Beet-le Juice.
