The Jetty is a licensed cafe and restaurant on Moana Road at Karehana Bay in Plimmerton, operating in partnership with the Plimmerton Boating Club. The venture began with a chance conversation between Ange, owner of Get Fixed Bicycle Cafe, and Yolanda, a boat club member, and grew into an agreement with the club's Commodore to bring new life to the beautiful waterfront space. The owners describe it as their love letter to Plimmerton — a place to eat, drink, connect and take a breather.
The kitchen focuses on local seafood and classic comfort cooking, with a menu that shifts from day to night alongside a dedicated drinks list. Whether it's a morning coffee, a cold drink with mates, or a small plate that turns into five, the setting pairs ocean views with a warm welcome, a hint of retro charm and a relaxed, seaside vibe where you fit in dressed up or straight off the sand. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free dishes are available, and the team is happy to help with allergies or special requests.
Hours run Monday to Tuesday 9:30am–3pm, Wednesday to Thursday 9:30am–9pm, Friday to Saturday 9:30am–10pm, and Sunday 9:30am–9pm. Booking is recommended, especially for dinner or groups, but walk-ins are welcome when there's space.
