Glamroom is a mobile hair, makeup and beauty team based in Raumati Beach, specialising in editorial, branding, wedding and event hair and makeup, alongside teeth whitening and spray tanning. The glamsquad is made up of best friends Chloe Thompson and Jacqui Siou, who met 20 years ago and set out to create a pre-party getting-ready experience for brides and clients heading to their next event.
Chloe trained as a makeup artist in 2000 at the Auckland Academy of Film and TV Makeup, going on to work for Bobbi Brown and later as a freelance makeup artist and skin consultant for Estee Lauder across brands including MAC, Tom Ford, Clinique and Bobbi Brown. Jacqui is a qualified makeup artist and hairstylist trained in London at the Academy of Freelance Makeup, with over 15 years' experience known for up styles, braids and boho hairstyles, including her signature Hollywood glam wave look.
As a fully mobile service, Glamroom brings a luxury getting-ready experience to clients' homes, hotels or chosen event locations throughout Kapiti, the Wellington region and Wairarapa. Both Chloe and Jacqui are also fully qualified lash and brow technicians and certified teeth whitening technicians, using the Beyond II dental-grade laser system.

Glamroom works across editorial and branding projects - creating refined, camera-ready looks for campaign shoots and personal branding in collaboration with photographers, creatives and agencies - as well as weddings, balls, birthdays, corporate events and nights out. Whether a client wants a subtle natural look or a dramatic, statement-making one, the team works closely with each person to make sure they're genuinely happy with the result.
As a fully mobile service, Glamroom brings the glam squad to a client's home, hotel or chosen event location, so there's no need to travel on the day. The team is available throughout Kapiti, the Wellington region and Wairarapa.
Glamroom uses Nak haircare, a natural, sustainability-focused brand, alongside Kevin Murphy, Moroccan Oil and Schwarzkopf for styling. For makeup, the team uses Doll Face, a Wellington-made brand using natural ingredients, alongside established names including MAC, Bobbi Brown, Anastasia, Morphe, Chanel, Tom Ford and Clinique. Brow services are delivered using Brow Code and Thuya products.
Beyond hair and makeup, Chloe and Jacqui are both fully qualified lash and brow technicians and certified teeth whitening technicians through Teeth Whitening Associates, using the Beyond II dental-grade laser system. Treatment starts with a free consultation to check suitability and determine the client's starting tooth shade, followed by a gel application activated under an LED light. Packages range from a single Touch Up treatment through to the Ultra Whitening Package for heavily stained teeth, delivered over two sittings a week apart.
