Annabelle's Kebab House serves authentic Middle Eastern cuisine from two locations in Porirua and Paraparaumu Beach. The restaurant was founded by Annabelle, a chef with a passion for Assyrian cuisine, and has grown from a small takeaway into a dine-in and takeaway restaurant known for its food and friendly service.
The kitchen uses traditional recipes passed down through generations, paired with fresh ingredients, to bring the tastes of Syria and Iraq to New Zealand. The menu centres on kebabs made with spit-fired meat wrapped in a tortilla with fresh vegetables and a choice of sauces, shawarma boxes served with hot chips and a side salad, and vegetarian options including falafel and zucchini, carrot and eggplant fritters.
Beyond day-to-day dining, Annabelle's Kebab House also offers catering for corporate events and family gatherings. Online ordering is available, though currently only for the Paraparaumu Beach location.
