Pukekiwiriki Paa is a historic Māori pā site on Red Hill Road in Red Hill, Papakura, holding a 4.6 Google rating from visitors who come to walk the heights.
Pā were fortified Māori villages, and their siting — usually on ridgelines or volcanic high ground — was chosen for defence, outlook and access to the routes and waterways of the region.
