About Nfinite Fitness & Health Limited

Nfinite Fitness & Health is a locally owned 24-hour gym on Dickens Street in Napier South. The floor is equipped with free weights, machine weights and other specialised training equipment, and members train under the guidance of qualified gym instructors and licensed Les Mills instructors. The philosophy is simple — nfinite goals, nfinite results — with a 7-day trial available for anyone wanting to try before they join.

Nfinite Fitness & Health: Napier's 24-Hour Gym with Les Mills Classes, NFI-HIIT and Reformer Pilates

Ask anyone at Nfinite Fitness & Health what the gym is about and the answer comes back in four words: nfinite goals, nfinite results. This locally owned gym on Dickens Street in Napier South has built its name on fitting around real life — open around the clock, stacked with classes, and staffed by people who greet you when you walk in.

It's also a gym where the owner still trains members. Jono, who owns and operates Nfinite, is a personal trainer himself, and he has assembled a team of instructors, trainers and reception staff whose stated aim is simply to welcome people and help them reach their fitness goals.

A gym that never clocks out

Long-term members get genuine 24/7 access — a card is issued in exchange for a $20 bond — so the workout happens whenever you can actually make it. For everyone else, the doors follow a generous schedule: 5:30am to 9pm Monday to Thursday, 5:30am to 8pm on Friday, 7am to 1pm Saturday and 8am to 12pm Sunday. Staffed hours run alongside, until 7pm Monday to Thursday, 2pm Friday and weekend mornings, so there's usually a qualified instructor on hand for a spot, a technique tip or a programme update.

Les Mills, and then some

Group fitness is Nfinite's headline act. The gym offers what it calls the most diverse range of Les Mills classes in Hawke's Bay: Body Attack, Body Pump, Body Balance, Body Combat, RPM, CXWORX and all three Grit formats — Cardio, Athletic and Strength. Sessions are timetabled before work, mid-morning, at lunchtime and after work, and members can reserve spots online. The dedicated RPM room is a drawcard in its own right, running classes seven mornings and three evenings a week on 16 high-quality resistance spin bikes.

House-made HIIT and a reformer studio

NFI-HIIT is the gym's home-grown addition — a circuit conditioning class you won't find at any other facility. For something lower impact, the Reformer Pilates studio offers three styles: HIIT + Flow, blending cardio-inspired intervals with controlled movement; Strength + Sculpt, focused on resistance and toning for all levels; and Restore + Renew, designed for older adults, beginners or anyone who wants to move slower but with purpose.

Space to train your way

Upstairs, the newly refurbished cardio and conditioning room is set up for HIIT, circuits and total-body functional workouts. In the weight room there's a full spread of dumbbells, barbells and assisted machines for isolated and compound movements at every strength level. Parents get a hand too — childminding runs Monday to Friday from 9am to 10:30am at $3.50 per child, for kids of all ages — and anyone after a bigger challenge can look up Jono's Bootcamp.

People first

What members mention most, though, is the welcome. “You're always greeted with a smile and hello when you walk in,” writes Maggie Herbison in a review that also praises the spacious floor and the team's readiness to help with technique or training advice. Eight qualified and experienced personal trainers — six male, two female — offer one-on-one coaching, and every certified gym instructor provides ongoing support with personalised programmes refreshed every six to eight weeks, all included with membership.

Getting started

Membership comes in three direct-debit tiers: $18 a week covers the weights and cardio areas plus basic Les Mills classes (excluding Grit and RPM), $20 adds Grit and RPM, and $27 adds NFI-HIIT as well. Casual passes, concession cards and short- and long-term paid-in-full memberships are also available. The minimum join age is 14, rising to 16 with a signed guarantor form for 24/7 access. A 7-day trial makes it easy to test-drive the whole setup — book classes through the online portal or call the team on 06 835 5565.
