Sai-Noi Thai Massage is a Thai massage and pain relief spa at 651 Pound Road in Yaldhurst, on the western side of Christchurch. The most distinctive thing about it is the massage balm, which a member of the team makes herself, a skill she learned in Thailand.
Treatments include a 60-minute body massage, and 30-minute add-ons of a mini facial, Gua-Sha, an Indian head massage or ear candling. Every treatment of an hour or more comes with a complimentary 20-minute sauna session, so guests are asked to arrive 15 to 30 minutes early and bring their own towels. Vouchers are available for gifts, and they can be used for any of these treatments.
The spa is open seven days a week from 9:30am to 8pm, and parking is in the farm area beside the building. The room is calm and clean, and the team is known for careful, attentive care.
We hear the therapists Hathai and Sineh, who worked at the Merivale spa, are now working full time at the Yaldhurst site, so former clients can book with them there.
