Nine Healing Arts is a wellness studio at 24 Midhurst Street in Bishopdale, Christchurch, built around sound healing. Its gong baths, sound journeys and sound cocoon sessions use gongs, Tibetan bowls and hanging cocoons, and the Gong Dreamers play nine harmonised gongs for longer immersive journeys. Customers say the Thai massage is calming and effective, and that the gong sessions are relaxing. One customer says a sauna and sound baths are a good addition to massage, and another says the cacao tea after a session was excellent. A customer who had not tried sound healing before says the one-to-one session was immersive and calming. Some customers say they felt the benefits for days afterwards.
