BEERS by Bacon Bros is a BBQ joint and bar set inside a converted warehouse at 477 Blenheim Road in Sockburn, Christchurch. Established in 2020, the venue combines a passion for fire-cooked BBQ with an equally serious approach to beer — hence the name. The menu is built around BBQ cooked with fire, using the best ingredients sourced from around New Zealand and the world, drawing inspiration from BBQ traditions passed down through generations across different cultures.
The venue's origin story is part of the brand: founder Troy's BEERS logo was inspired by a black Hokkaido bear that walked into his campsite in Japan. The deal he made with the bear was apparently honoured on both sides.
Beyond dining, BEERS by Bacon Bros offers catering services, BBQ masterclasses, a merchandise and beer shop, and gift cards. Online ordering is available via Uber Eats (pickup and delivery) and DoorDash.
