Auto Pro Car & Truck Servicing is an independently owned workshop at 308 Waterloo Road in Islington, Christchurch. The shop says it has served its community for over 25 years, at an affordable price. Its work includes oil changes, brake repair, air conditioning service, complex engine diagnostics and WOF services. Reviewers also mention WOFs for motorhomes. Opening hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 4.30pm, and Saturday, 9am to 12pm.
Reviewers say the team dug into an engine light that nobody else had been able to explain, and talked them through the fault. Another praises the staff for going above and beyond, and for affordable parts and labour. A customer who came in for a WOF on a trailer got an appointment for the next morning, and was called when the trailer was ready. Reviewers describe the staff as friendly and helpful. Of the two nearby mechanics with ten or more reviews, including this one, none rates higher than Auto Pro. Pit Stop Hornby and Mister Mechanical are both 0.9 km away, and Fitzgerald Motors is 1.0 km away.
