New Moon Wellness is a holistic massage practice on Dunedin Street in Redwood, Christchurch, for women and mums-to-be. Lymphatic drainage and pregnancy massage are the treatments customers mention most. The lymphatic drainage uses light, rhythmic strokes to move lymph fluid, and the website says it is suited to people with swelling or with conditions such as lipoedema or lymphoedema. Pregnancy massage is offered from the second trimester. The practice also offers a relaxation massage and a deeper massage, a consultation before each treatment, aromatherapy oils from doTERRA, and an organic herbal tea afterwards. For a full-body treatment, the website recommends the 90-minute option. A 45-minute back, neck and shoulder massage is $90, as at 2026.
Customers describe the massages as deeply relaxing, with the therapist working where the body needs it most. One says they felt grounded and comfortable, and another that they felt as if they were floating. Others describe the therapist as kind, attentive and professional. The practice also holds occasional women's wellness events and gatherings. Our pick in Redwood for a deeply relaxing massage after an initial consultation.
