Tiny Tots Nursery and Preschool is a small, privately owned, family-run early childhood centre in Christchurch. Its distinctive feature is that it is a small, homely centre with a real family feel, where the owner-operators say they understand what parents need. The centre has an open-plan layout both indoors and out.
Its programmes are built around each child. The teachers watch the children at play, talk with parents and the teaching team, and then draw up an individual programme for each child. All teachers are fully qualified and registered. The centre accepts 20 Hours ECE for children aged three, four and five, and families may be eligible for childcare subsidies.
