Inspired by beers found on overseas travel, this craft brewery and taproom on New Brighton Mall brews in its own 1200-litre brewery, set up in 2019. Its flagship, Uncle Charlie American Pale Ale, was first brewed in July 2016 and is still one of its best sellers, and its Riding Pine Red IPA won a gold medal at the Brewers' Guild NZ Beer Awards. Alongside the core range, the brewery releases seasonal and small-batch beers. The taproom is open Wednesday and Thursday from 2pm to 9pm, Friday from 12pm to 9pm, Saturday from 11am to 9pm and Sunday from 1pm to 6pm, and it is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
