Reverie Booksellers is a secondhand bookshop at 52 Edgeware Road in Edgeware, Christchurch, and it has been trading from a brick-and-mortar store since 1977. It sells quality secondhand and fine books, many of them like new, and it is known for popular modern fiction. Stock runs from bestsellers to rare and hard-to-find titles. The shop has two fiction rooms, covering contemporary and general fiction, romance, historical fiction, thrillers and crime, horror, and science fiction and fantasy. A children's room holds books for early readers through to young adult, and a non-fiction room covers history, memoirs, military, cooking, gardening, health, art and music, sport, psychology and more.
The shop also runs an online store, which its website says holds around 15,000 books. Books can be ordered online and posted anywhere in New Zealand, but the shop does not ship overseas. Its loyalty system returns 5% of each purchase, both online and in store, to the customer. The website describes the shop as a boutique secondhand bookshop.
