A campus gallery in Ilam, Christchurch, that shows exhibitions by students and artists. We hear the current exhibition is Consumption, Media, Womanhood, which brings together work by five artists on how media shapes the way women and their bodies are represented. Part of the show is DeSir, a set of three typefaces made by three of the artists, with keyboard stations where typed words are projected onto a shared wall. One visitor says the gallery is always fresh and exciting, and another found their daughter's exhibition very interesting. Check before you go, as exhibitions change.
