Consumption, Media, Womanhood brings together work by Sophie Brown, Olivia Moore, Neve Vangioni, Vienna Nunns and Lourie Torr. The exhibition responds to a growing discomfort with the ways women and femininity are represented and constructed through contemporary media, and with the beauty standards, gender expectations and patriarchal structures that continue to shape these representations.
