This is the most marvellous collection of steam engines. It has been assembled at Tokomaru just south of Palmerston North in the north island of New Zealand.Colin Stephenson gathered his collection from all over New Zealand. Engines such as the huge Corliss of which I have shown a part of the valve gear is a testimony to his determination to save fine machinery from extinction.
