Ponsonby Cosmetic Medical Clinic is a medical aesthetics and appearance medicine clinic located on Level 1 at 63 Ponsonby Road in Auckland. The clinic offers non-surgical cosmetic treatments including treatment for wrinkles, dermal fillers, laser hair removal, excessive sweating treatment, microdermabrasion, Ultracontour and acne scar treatment, and welcomes private patients. It is accredited by the Australasian College of Phlebology (New Zealand).
The clinic is led by Dr Paul Nola, who was born and raised in West Auckland and trained at Auckland Medical School. He has worked in general practice since 1995 and in appearance and cosmetic medicine in Ponsonby since 2002. Dr Nola is a Fellow of the New Zealand College of Appearance Medicine and a Fellow of the Royal New Zealand College of General Practice, is laser certified by the Australasian College of Cosmetic Physicians, and is an Associate Member of the Australasian College of Phlebology.
He is supported by an experienced nursing team. Nurse Alwyne Jones trained at Middlemore Hospital and has worked in appearance medicine and cosmetic surgery since 1997, joining the clinic in 2002 and specialising in laser hair removal, treatment for wrinkles, Ultracontour and microdermabrasion. Nurse Justine Naufahu graduated as a registered nurse in 1991, with a background spanning medical, cardiology and district nursing as well as diabetes nurse education. Wilma Koci serves as practice therapist.
The clinic is open Monday to Friday from 9:30am to 5:00pm and Saturdays from 9:30am to 2:00pm, closing on Sundays. Prospective patients can contact the clinic directly for quotes and consultation enquiries.
