The deck at Mission Bay Tap Room hosts live music every Friday, Saturday and Sunday, making it a regular weekend fixture for anyone after music with their drinks. For private events, Mission Bay Tap Room offers two distinct spaces. The Mission Room is a large, sophisticated and spacious neutral space with white walls, dark wooden floors and a high pitched A-frame ceiling, seating up to 80 or holding 150 standing, with large windows opening onto views of the Pohutukawa-lined beach. The Ocean View room, located just off the main bar, holds up to 30 standing and can be opened up on a good day to let in the sun and sea breeze, offering a cosier, semi-private space with beach views.
Tables for up to 10 people can be booked online. For groups larger than 10, bookings go through email, and event enquiries for 20 or more people are handled through the venue's functions process, with a dedicated Functions Manager and a downloadable functions brochure available.
